Background,

The Association of Ba’lal Foundation is a charitable organization open to all without distinction of race, origin and religion. It is aimed at promoting, providing and advocating for increase Computer skills training in the rural areas thereby encourage further education and provide scholarship for the needy especially orphans in English, Arabic and French schools in The Gambia.

To discourage illegal migration and maximize the effectiveness of youths participation in Information Communication Technology skills and entrepreneurship and to also Engage women in horticultural gardening, poultry etc. to provide income generation for the women in the rural area.  The Association of Ba’lal Foundation was formed in January, 2011.


OUR GOAL

  1. The Association of Ba’lal Foundation intends to transform the lives of the rural children, youths and adults and their environment thereby harnessing their potentials and participation in developing themselves and their communities.
  2. To discourage illegal migration and maximize the effectiveness of youths participation in Information Communication Technology skills and entrepreneurship.
  3. Promote the study of information technology and entrepreneurship which are key to every nation’s development.

VISION

The vision of The Association of Ba’lal Foundation  is set to achieve societal progress and economic development of the grassroots and to improve the quality of life of the poor youths, women, orphans and children by motivating them to engage in ICT skills, horticultural gardening, poultry and entrepreneurship for productive and self-development activities.

 

MISSION

The mission of The Association of Ba’lal Foundation is to minimize rural urban migration by promoting and contributing to the education of the poor, orphans and children’s and youths. This is done through the provision of free or affordable skills training education especially ICT skills for them to be self fulfilled and employed in their societies.
